By accessing the Naksha Planet website (nakshaplanet.com) or engaging our home design services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our website and services immediately.

These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, and users who access or use our services. Naksha Planet reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Services Offered

Naksha Planet provides online home interior design services, including but not limited to:

• Design consultation and space planning
• 2D floor plans and 3D visualisations
• Material, furniture, and finish recommendations
• Vendor sourcing guidance and shopping lists
• Design packages as described on our Packages page

All services are delivered digitally. Naksha Planet does not provide on-site execution, construction supervision, or physical procurement of materials unless explicitly agreed in writing as part of a bespoke engagement.

3. Payments and Fees

All service fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• Payment schedule: A non-refundable advance payment is required to confirm and commence any design engagement. The remaining balance is due as specified in your project agreement.
• Payment methods: We accept bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/UPI) and other methods communicated at the time of booking.
• Price changes: Naksha Planet reserves the right to revise service pricing at any time. Changes do not affect projects already confirmed and paid.
• Late payments: Work may be paused on projects where dues remain outstanding beyond the agreed payment dates.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Advance payments are non-refundable once design work has commenced. Naksha Planet invests significant time and resources in project initiation, discovery, and planning from the outset.

• Cancellation before work begins: If you cancel before any design work has started, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion, minus any administrative costs incurred.
• Cancellation after design delivery: No refund is applicable once final design files have been delivered.
• Scope changes: Requests that fall outside your agreed package scope may attract additional charges, which will be communicated before proceeding.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure timely and high-quality design delivery, clients agree to:

• Provide accurate measurements, floor plans, and reference images in a timely manner
• Share clear feedback and approvals within the agreed revision windows
• Communicate changes in scope or requirements promptly
• Respond to design queries within a reasonable time to avoid project delays

Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by delays in client-provided information. Naksha Planet is not liable for delays resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.

6. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, layouts, visualisations, mood boards, and documents created by Naksha Planet are the intellectual property of Naksha Planet until full payment has been received. Upon full settlement, the client receives a limited, non-transferable licence to use the deliverables for their personal residential project only.

• Portfolio use: Naksha Planet retains the right to feature completed project work in its portfolio, social media, and marketing materials, unless the client explicitly opts out in writing.
• No resale: Clients may not resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any design deliverables without prior written consent.
• Website content: All content on nakshaplanet.com — including text, graphics, images, and branding — is the exclusive property of Naksha Planet and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the engagement. Naksha Planet will not disclose client project details, floor plans, or personal information to any third party without consent, except where required by law. Clients agree not to share Naksha Planet's unpublished design concepts with competing service providers.

8. Limitation of Liability

Naksha Planet's liability is limited to the fees paid by the client for the specific service in question. We are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our designs or recommendations
• Variations in material availability, vendor pricing, or execution quality by third-party contractors
• Differences between design visualisations and actual physical outcomes due to material, lighting, or site variations
• Loss of data or delays caused by technical failures outside our control

Our design visualisations are artistic representations intended to communicate design intent. Actual results may vary based on execution, materials sourced, and site conditions.

9. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the site. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website
• Using automated tools to scrape content or data
• Submitting false or misleading information through forms
• Engaging in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the website's functionality

Naksha Planet reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the website for any user found in violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith communication. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
